About The Book
Where the Moths Dance is a paranormal ghost story for young adults, with a little bit of magic, and a little bit of romance. I had great fun writing the book and immersing myself in Jessie’s world—a world of moonlight, moths, and magic. If you loved the book, then I hope you will enjoy your visit here, where you can read about the inspiration behind the story, and all things related to Jessie and her journey towards discovering that life is not always what it appears to be…
I have been a booklover my whole life and knew from a young age that I wanted to be a writer. After having a few novellas published in magazines in the UK, I published my first full-length novel, Scrappy Cupcake Angels, a story about scrapbooking and friendship, in 2012.
For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by anything to do with ghosts and I always knew that one day I would write a ghost story. Where the Moths Dance is my first novel for young adults.
When I am not writing or reading, I love to do crafts, especially ones that involve paper or fabric—scrapbooking, art journalling, mixed-media art, patchwork and quilting.
I live with my husband, Nick, and our puppy, Finn, in the Art Deco city of Napier, New Zealand.
